Trees are provided at no cost to families using funds raised by the organization and its primary sponsor, Mariners Church. Tree distribution begins on Saturday, December 8th at 9:00 a.m. with volunteers meeting at the church’s Irvine location for get delivery assignments.
“We Will Serve started the Christmas Tree Blessing in 2008 when it became clear that many of the families we served throughout the year with clothing and other necessities were going without Christmas trees,” said Josephine Sexton, founder and president of We Will Serve. “We love seeing the faces of the kids when we drop off their Christmas tree – they just light up! This is a time for celebration and we’re honored to help bring Christmas to these families.”

We Will Serve donated and distributed hundreds of clothing items to families in need at the Lestonnec/Mariners Free Medical Clinic on Saturday June 4th in Santa Ana. Hundreds of families braved the heat to receive free dental exams, and primary medical care. We Will Serve managed the distribution of clothing to each individual that attended the clinic. Lestonnec is a first class operation, and WWS is proud to be able to serve alongside them.
We Will Serve participated in a free dental and medical clinic on March 5th in Los Alamitos. The clinic was sponsored by Mariners Church and Lestonnac Free Clinic, who have been providing basic medical and dental services to Orange Counties families since 1979. We WIll Serve distributed clothing to hundreds of individuals at the clinic throughout the day.
