Read more]]> This year's Christmas Tree Distribution took place on December 10th in coordination with Mariner's Church Irvine. 235 families were blessed with Christmas Trees thanks to the generous donations of Mariner's Church members and We Will Serve. The trees were staged on Friday December 9th at the faclilities building at the church, and on Saturday morning volunteers flooded the campus to pick up and deliver the trees to families in Orange County. The trees were delivered throughout the day with the final delivery taking place shorty after midnight (Sunday morning). Thanks goes out to all of the volunteers that showed up and gave of their time to bless others and make this event a tremendous success!

Read more]]> We Will Serve donated and distributed hundreds of clothing items to families in need at the Lestonnec/Mariners Free Medical Clinic on Saturday June 4th in Santa Ana. Hundreds of families braved the heat to receive free dental exams, and primary medical care. We Will Serve managed the distribution of clothing to each individual that attended the clinic. Lestonnec is a first class operation, and WWS is proud to be able to serve alongside them.

Read more]]> We Will Serve participated in a free dental and medical clinic on March 5th in Los Alamitos. The clinic was sponsored by Mariners Church and Lestonnac Free Clinic, who have been providing basic medical and dental services to Orange Counties families since 1979. We WIll Serve distributed clothing to hundreds of individuals at the clinic throughout the day.

Read more]]> This year, We Will Serve's Christmas Tree Distribution had a new twist; Christmas presents for the kids of the needy families. Partnering with Mariners Church, We Will Serve Ministries organized the blessing of 209 families in need of Orange County with presents for their children.  The gifts were donated by the members of Mariners Church, the total number of children blessed by this event was close to 600.

155 Christmas Trees were donated to these families and the trees and gifts were delivered by members of Mariners Church. The event took place over four days, from Friday December 17th - Monday December 20th. Friday afternoon, the trees were delivered and volunteers fought the driving rain for 2 1/2 hours to cut the ends off of 155 trees and put stands on them. The rain did not desist as on Saturday, from 9am-1pm, volunteers showed up to pick up the trees and gifts to be delivered to the families in need of Orange County. Sunday was a repeat performance of the thunderstorm but it did not deter the members of Mariners Church from showing up and delivering trees and gifts from 2pm - 6pm. The event ended on Monday as the families who opted to pick up their gifts and trees did so from 9am - 1pm.

This event is truly a blessing to the volunteers and organizers, as much as it is to the families receiving the trees and gifts.  Stay tuned for stories of God's grace and love that are coming out of this awesome event, as relayed by the volunteers. God is good!

Approximately 100 families were blessed with food boxes donated by the members of Mariners Church. The food boxes were filled with pantry items and thanksgiving day meal essentials.

Read more]]> We Will Serve is happy to announce that it has a new warehouse to better serve the needs of its families.  As most of you know, our ministry was started out of our one bedroom apartment & garage in Irvine. Since then, our organization has grown and we have been searching for a better location to serve our needs and the needs of our organization. Last year we partnered with a local food ministry, and that relationship has grown to the point that We Will Serve has been invited to share warehouse space with that organization. We are delighted at the opportunity to further expand our vision and serve a larger number of needy families in Orange County.

Read more]]> We Will Serve's 2nd Annual Christmas Tree Drive was a huge success!  WWS partnered with the Mariner's Church to distribute 151 Christmas trees to needy families in Orange County. This year's Tree Drive also featured a Christmas Present distribution for needy children in Orange County. Approximately 300 Christmas presents were handed out to needy kids this season. The gifts were kindly donated by the Members of Mariner's Church.
Special thanks to Sharon Girulat's organization Christmas Trees of Hope and the dozen or so volunteers who braved the freezing cold, rainy conditions to put stands on the trees, tie them to the cars and then personally deliver the presents.

Read more]]> We Will Serve partnered with Mariner's Church Women's Ministry to host a Thanksgiving Brunch for families in need and single moms. Approximately 70 families were blessed with food boxes (two boxes per family) donated by the generous members of Mariners Church. The food boxes were filled with pantry items and thanksgiving day meal essentials. Each family was also gifted a food voucher worth over $100 in food items to be redeemed at a local food ministry.

Read more]]> We Will Serve partnered with the Women's Ministry of Mariner's church for a diaper drive benefitting Orange County single mothers. We Will Serve organized the event which hosted approximately 50 single mothers in need and their families.  Each family was blessed with a large box of diapers (one box per child) and a package of baby wipes.  The diapers and wipes were donated by the women who attend Mariner's Church bible studies. The day also featured a potluck for the families and children to enjoy.
